Sabado Oct 3 en 6L6

No olviden que este sabado estaremos como de costumbre en 6L6 con buen house music y la mejor energia. Desde hace unas semanas tenemos un nuevo booth con tornas así que esperen mucha pero mucha muscia en vinilo que hace rato no oyen o que talvez nunca han oido...

Creo que por un minuto perdí el norte, después de haber escrito el último
par de posts en ingles me puse a pensar en el verdadero propósito de todo
esto y me di cuenta que estaba cometiendo un error. Si bien hay mucha gente
de fuera que visita la pagina, la verdadera finalidad de esta es servir de
instrumento de promoción y divulgación a las actividades que ocurren al
rededor del House en Bogotá, si Bogotá Colombia, ciudad hispano parlante
localizada 2600 metros mas lejos del cuerpo de agua que la inconciencia
humana se empeña en convertir en la cloaca universal.
Así que cual es el punto en ponerme a hacer esto en ingles si acá "se habla español"... buena suerte con el ingles, esta pagina retorna al castellano y le da la
bienvenida a todos los ciudadanos del universo que se quieran enterar de lo
que pasa con el house en esta ciudad (que en realidad no es mucho).

Gone English

It's been a long time since I last wrote something on this blog, and the live webcast has been off air for a couple of weeks now... I could say I've been way too busy lately (which I've been) or I could tell you about how having my parents in town for a couple of weeks makes me think twice if should dedicate time to the broadcast or just hang around with them (It's obvious that I have prefered the latter)...however, these are all excuses

Those who know me will surely agree that I'm the kind of guy that manages to find time and strength to do just about anything, no matter how many other things I have upon my dish...

To be absolutely honest I've felt a little discouraged to continue with the live broadcast given the fact that during the last episodes we´ve only had a few visitors. My love and gratitude goes to those who always show up (you know who you are), therefore until something makes me change my mind I will no longer do the regular broadcasts I had been doing on sundays. Honestly I really love doing it and I don't expect anything in return from it, but without any audience, whats the point? I sometimes wake up on a very musical mood, this is specially true on saturday mornings so expect sporadic saturday morning broadcasts which I will anounce on my facebook status.

The regulars to my blog must be wondering why have I started writing in english... well I've always placed close attention to the visitor statics and most of them are from the US, the far East and Europe, while very few are locals, therefore I guess there is no point in keeping this thing in spanish and I've decided to write in English i/o spanish, this is not a final decision, but is my decision so far... I dont know how many of you guys would prefer this thing in english or spanish, I'm fully open for suggestions, so just let me know, by the way there is no possiblity for me to do it in both languages no no no I'm just too lazy for that.


In the meantime, after a weekend off I take back my weekly saturday residence at 6L6, which I WILL CONTINUE to broadcast live from the club. So you know how it goes, I do a 2Hr warm up set, the band goes on at 11PM col for about an hour, then they take a break and I return to the decks, then they go back on for about another hour and after that I get back on the decks till the end of the night... so join us this Saturday Sept 5 9PM-3AM COL (7PM-1AM PST, 10PM-4AM EST), it is a must for all the respectable hedz outhere... jajjaja

The band I play along with at 6L6 is a band doing house music live, If your looking for something different go elsewere...expect nothing but nice downtempo deep, jazzy, funky, soulful housemusic.
